Mike Pence was the former Vice President. His lawyer found a dozen classified documents at his house last Wednesday.
A lawyer for former Vice President Mike Pence discovered about a dozen documents marked as classified at Pence’s Indiana home last week, and he has turned those classified records over to the FBI, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
The FBI and the Justice Department’s National Security Division have launched a review of the documents and how they ended up in Pence’s house in Indiana.

Biden and Pence both voluntarily gave the FBI classified documents. As a precaution, the former vice president requested that the FBI conduct a search of his files.
The Pence and Biden situations are different from Donald Trump’s in that both of the men turned over the classified documents to the authorities as soon as they were found. Neither the former vice president nor the president of the United States claimed the documents as their own or attempted to stop the DOJ from returning them.
Republicans trying to make the Biden scandal a scandal should be encouraged by the Pence classified news.
