Axiom Housing Association and Nene Housing Society

With a primary objective of providing affordable housing solutions for people and their communities, Axiom Housing Association manages approximately 1,800 properties throughout Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire.

The association chose Smye Holland Associates to develop its profile across the two counties and is now very well placed to build on its reputation thanks to a development partnership agreement with the Longhurst Group.

As part of our on-going media relations campaign we publicise new developments and initiatives as well as the positive work it undertakes with its tenants that make Axiom stand out as a caring and forward-thinking housing association.

Smye Holland Associates also uses its close contacts with the housing press and knowledge of the social housing sector to promote Nene Housing Society. Nene provides a range of social housing and manages around 3,000 rented and leasehold homes mainly in the Peterborough, Nottinghamshire and Cambridgeshire areas.

As well as managing a thorough media relations programme aimed at its tenants, potential tenants and development partners we worked closely with Nene to produce a media communications strategy for a major development in Cambridge.

Nene is set for a major expansion in its programme of high quality and sustainable homes and is continuing to work with Smye Holland Associates to achieve its goals.
