SMYE HOLLAND ASSOCIATES ATTENDS NATIONWIDE EXHIBITIONS

Members of the Smye Holland Associates (www.smye-holland.com) team have been busy attending conferences and exhibitions around the country.

On Wednesday, we attended the Building Schools Exhibition and Conference in London that welcomed 6,000 people over the two day event.

The Building Schools Exhibition and Conference (BSEC) is the only event in Britain that caters for everybody involved in school building projects from the planning stage through to the use of new buildings - architects, teachers, contractors, ICT specialists and local authorities.

BSEC 2010 was the largest to date with over 20 local authorities exhibiting and more than 300 exhibitors from across the supply chain in attendance.

On Thursday we were present at the easyFairs Packaging Innovation 2010 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham with our client Recoup, the UK’s leading authority on plastics waste management. The exhibition was a huge success with informative presentations given across the two days and an opportunity to see the many different types of innovative packaging and recycling opportunities available today.

This week, we will be attending the Ecobuild exhibition in Earls Court, London that focuses on sustainability within the construction and development sector.

This year attractions include Cityscape, that aims to tackle the inter-connected challenges facing the urban public realm and looks to the improvements that urban green space can deliver.

Ecobuild Installer is a new attraction for 2010. As a variety of government initiatives start to encourage the installation of micro renewable energy systems, Ecobuild Installer will make sense of the products, the market and the opportunities through a series of practical demonstrations and over 30 free seminar and training sessions.

Smye Holland Associates provides marketing services to specific industries, including organisations working in recycling and waste management, economic development, social housing and the technology and engineering sectors.
