NEXT CUSTOMER COULD BE ONE IN A MILLION FOR DRAIN DOCTOR
At its present rate of trading, national plumbing and drain repair business Drain Doctor Plumbing will serve its one millionth customer at some time in February 2010.
Whoever calls Drain Doctor out on its one millionth job will not only get superb plumbing work done – he or she, plus a friend or partner, will win a luxury holiday in Bath Spa.
Launched in the United Kingdom in 1993, Drain Doctor provides a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year service across the country from more than 100 individual franchise businesses.
Each week the local franchisees report on their activities to the Drain Doctor head office in Peterborough – and the total number of jobs completed since 1993 is now very close to the one million mark.
At some point in February the milestone figure will be reached. Then the franchisee who undertook the one millionth job will get a call and will be asked to break the news to the lucky customer.

“But there is no way of knowing in exactly which week we will hit the one million figure or whether it will be better in that week to be at the top of the pile or the bottom – so our one millionth customer could come from anywhere in the UK!”
