SMYE HOLLAND ASSOCIATES HELP O&H HAMPTON PROMOTE SELF BUILD PLOTS
Peterborough based marketing and public relations (PR) consultancy Smye Holland Associates (www.smye-holland.com) is to help O&H Hampton(www.ohhampton.co.uk), the company behind the development of the Hampton township south of Peterborough, promote the sale of 13 ‘self build’ plots.
The plots enable buyers to build their dream home to their own specific design. Each comprises around one-third of an acre (0.12 ha) within an exclusive site on the edge of the new residential neighbourhood of Hampton Vale West.
The 13 self-build plots are arranged along both sides of a winding lane named Winsor Crescent (www.ohland.co.uk) situated between a more conventional professionally developed housing area and a nature reserve which houses Europe’s largest colony of great crested newts.
Smye Holland Associates, specialists in construction marketing services, are assisting O&H Hampton with media relations, highlighting the exciting potential of the plots and news of buyers being able to make their property dreams a reality.
Smye Holland Associates was heavily involved with media relations for the developers when work first started on the Hampton township in 1997.

Winsor Avenue is not the first self-build development at Hampton. Seven self-build plots were released in 2000 and were quickly built on to create a number of diverse and architecturally-interesting homes which have become a focal point within the new community.
The purchasers of the new self-build plots will have a large amount of freedom over the design of their homes. However, a design code drawn up by O&H Hampton and Peterborough City Council sets the standards which individual homes will be required to meet.
