REBRANDING OF REDRING
Manufacturer of water heating, showers and wash room equipment Redring is launching a new logo thanks to Peterborough-based advertising and marketing agency T2 Studios.
The new logo, which was designed by T2, reflects Redring’s stylish and contemporary products while also keeping a link with its history, by using the same text as its previous logo.
The logo will be used on all Redring’s products and packaging. The logo will be gradually launched to the public and retailers as new products are designed and manufactured.
The old logo was lozenge shape and was fitted to the shower as part of the mould. This meant that the shower moulds all had to be designed to fit the logo.
This new design will allow the logo to be added at a later stage in production and will save the company thousands of pounds in the long run.
Redring has also launched a new remote control for its luxury showers which will incorporate the new branding.
T2 also helped to design two new brochures for the company. One is a technical brochure which will be used by retailers that includes the manufacturing specification of each product.
There is also a new shower brochure which provides a comprehensive overview of Redring's design-led and luxury shower ranges which includes its electric and digital mixer showers.
Kevin Tolson at Redring said: “The old logo was no longer suitable for our production methods and therefore a new logo was required. The new logo reflects our stylish and modern products.
“We have previously worked with T2 and their designs always meet all our requirements.”
James Lewis, director at T2 Studios, said: “We needed to design a campaign for Redring that was both visually interesting and was yet in keeping with the tone and design of its products. This combination was highly successful and we are pleased to have delivered a campaign which has met the client’s expectations.”

ITV GRAPHICS DESIGNER JOINS MEDIALEAP
Top designer and former head of graphics at ITV, Darren Walker, has joined online media advertising agency MediaLeap to take forward state-of-the-art design, video and animation techniques to enhance websites and online advertising.
The rise of broadband has meant the possibilities for online marketing has grown and many websites are now incorporating live action videos and techniques such as sound, animation and video, to bring ‘to life’ online advertising. In his new role as media developer, Darren will utilise his creativity to produce graphics and videos for websites and online advertising.
Darren has built up an extensive portfolio and experience. A graduate in media and design, he spent ten years at ITV Meridian in Southampton where he was made head of news graphics. “There are so many possibilities for online design, it is an exciting media and I’m looking forward to working with clients to help them with their website and advertising needs,” said Darren.

MEDIALEAP HELPS OXFORD COMPANIES REAP BENEFITS FROM ONLINE ADVERTISING
New online media advertising agency, MediaLeap has been launched to help companies plan online campaigns to harness the power of the internet. It aims to boost sales and raise brand awareness through digital technologies.
MediaLeap, which has an office in Oxford, is a division of established marketing and advertising agency t2 Studios. It is offering clients a fully-integrated service to design, place and evaluate online advertising. MediaLeap is able to produce highly targeted campaigns to generate more website visitors to increase product sales or create greater brand awareness.
Through its close relationships with major search engines and internet service providers, MediaLeap is able to identify times of the day that certain ‘types’ of people are using the internet, what they are searching for and what products are of interest. It uses this to ensure that campaigns are highly targeted to specific audiences in order to generate results.
A key service provided by Medialeap is success monitoring which checks that campaigns meet objectives. Monitoring techniques have developed substantially to enable clients to calculate the amount of time visitors spend viewing an advert, how this is transformed into website click-throughs and the extent to which the campaign has increased sales or brand awareness.
Campaigns are developed to meet targets and data from daily success monitoring helps establish the success of the campaign in reaching specific audiences.
Rich media design and development techniques are used by MediaLeap to bring standard internet adverts, such as banners and skyscrapers, ‘to life’ using sound, animation, video and games. They create highly interactive adverts that encourage web users to engage with it and click through to clients’ websites.
Rich media is designed to be highly eye catching while at the same time not imposing on the web page being viewed, unlike pop ups which can interrupt the visitor experience. MediaLeap designs and places adverts to meet the objectives of the campaign while complimenting the web page where they are placed to enhance the user experience.
Clients already using MediaLeap include Mercedes, the Plumb Centre, English Partnerships and the Home Office.
“The increased usage and availability of broadband has meant that, during peak times, more people are using the internet than watching television,” said Jason Hill, technical director at MediaLeap. “Many companies are becoming more aware of the power of rich media and MediaLeap has been established to work with clients across a broad spectrum, particularly within the consumer market, to design and implement specifically targeted online media campaigns tailored to meet their needs.”
